✦ How a mural is made
From survey
to signature.
A mural commission begins with a site visit. Faith measures the wall, studies how daylight and evening lighting fall across it, and talks through how the space is used: who sits facing it, what it should be seen from, what feeling it should hold.
From there she prepares a design: sketches, colour studies and a digital mock-up of the finished mural on a photograph of your wall, so you can see it in place before a drop of paint is used. Once approved, the surface is prepared and the mural is painted by hand on site, then sealed with a protective finish.
How long does a mural take?
Most interior murals take between one and three weeks of painting, depending on size and detail, after a design phase of one to two weeks. Restaurants and hotels can schedule painting outside opening hours.
What does a mural cost?
Each mural is quoted individually. Price depends on wall size, level of detail, surface preparation, access (scaffolding or lifts) and timeline. After the site visit you receive a fixed proposal with no surprises.

Who paints murals in Dubai?
Faith the Creator is an international mural artist based in Dubai who designs and hand-paints bespoke murals for restaurants, hotels, offices and luxury homes across Dubai, the UAE and around the world.
Can you paint exterior murals in the Dubai heat?
Yes. Exterior murals are painted with exterior-grade paints and a protective topcoat, and scheduled for the cooler months or early mornings so the paint cures properly.
What surfaces can a mural be painted on?
Plastered and painted walls, concrete, wood, doors and many cladding materials. Faith assesses the surface on the site visit and prepares it so the mural lasts.
Can a mural reflect my brand or story?
Yes. Many commissions weave in brand colours, a venue's name, a family story or Arabic calligraphy with personal meaning, always translated into the artwork rather than added as a logo.
Do you work with interior designers and architects?
Regularly. Faith can work from your drawings, material boards and lighting plans, and coordinates with contractors on site.
Do you paint murals internationally?
Yes. Faith is based in Dubai and has painted murals in Toronto, Brooklyn, Miami, Tulum and Playa del Carmen, and travels for selected international commissions.
